TN Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Course

This is an 8 hour class that meets all the requirements to apply for your Tennessee Enhanced Carry Permit. All students must take and pass both a written and shooting test. Rental guns are available to qualify with at no additional charge. The shooting portion of the test will be conducted in our climate controlled indoor range.

Our class covers the laws related to carrying a firearm, the associated liabilities, legal use of deadly force as well as basic gun safety and safe storage. We will cover the steps needed to both apply for and receive your permit.

All classes start at 8:45, please arrive early to make sure all paperwork is completed. We will take plenty of breaks and lunch will be provided. Prior to the day of the class, you must visit https://dl.safety.tn.gov/_/#1 and apply to take this class. We must have your application number prior to the day of class to insure you’re able to attend.
